TERMS OF SERVICE - Global Intervention (GI)


These Terms of Service (Terms) reveal how our Platforms work and help define
GI's relationship with You to the extent of your interaction with our Services, including
our website, our app, our email and telephone notifications, and our other tools
covered in our Content and Privacy Policies
Please read these Terms carefully. Any registration, use, publication or viewing
of the Services made available by GI implies that you fully and unreservedly accept
these terms. If you do not agree to or with part of these Terms, do not install, use, or
access the Application or other Services and immediately delete the Application if you
have already installed it.
We also publish Privacy and Content Policies. We suggest reading these for
proper and reliable use of our Services.
1. What you need to know (definitions)
The following expressions will have the meanings defined below, unless the
context indicates the opposite:
● Global Intervention/ GI/ We: refers to the company that provides the
Application and website and provides all services included in these
Platforms;
● Platforms: refers to the Gi Application and Website.
● Services: refers to the features provided in our Platforms.
● User/ You: refers to the person, physical or legal, who accesses our
Platforms, installs, unloads or otherwise uses our Platforms and
Services;
● Partners: refers to other people or entities linked to our Platforms and
who are not users of our Services;
● Content: refers to what the user writes, publishes, comments on,
responds to, stores, sends, receives or shares with GI using our Services;
● Medical Devices: refers to any instrument, apparatus, equipment,
software, material or article, used alone or in combination, introduced
into the human body with the purposes of diagnosis, prevention,
control, treatment, attenuation or compensation of a disease, injury or
disability;
● Interventional Medicine: refers to the area of medicine related to
minimally invasive diagnostic and/or therapeutic procedures, guided by
imaging methods.
2. What you can find in GI
Our Platforms offer multiple functionalities with the idea of providing a
global service of connection and real-time interaction of physicians
specialized in interventional medicine and their subspecialties, capable of
promoting technical knowledge recycling, exchange of experience,
partnerships with professionals from around the world and collective
debates s. In addition, GI wants to simplify the day-to-day of its user:
bureaucratizing the storage of data, recording the procedures performed in
a safe, fast, and straightforward way and customizing private and collective
events in a single virtual environment. Gi Services are composed of the
following functions:
a) Forum: our goal is to expand the connection and interaction of interventional
medicine professionals from all over the world. We want relationships to be
strengthened through real-time virtual contact with case sharing already
conducted and with discussions and advice in cases scheduled for a future date;
b) Private Forum: Connect you with the largest industries that manufacture
medical devices. Facilitate access to products, clarify doubts about devices and
enable a reliable and thoughtful comparison of what circulates in the world
market. We use our Platform to display ads, offers and other sponsored content
that we believe is meaningful to you. And we try to make that content
appropriate, pertinent, and sensible in a way that doesn't compromise your
other experiences at GI.
c) MyDoc: Through a computerized system with enhanced level of security, you
store and handle the main data of the procedures performed in a fast,
immediate and standardized way with the objective of optimizing processes
and efficient monitoring of patients. The result is translated into greater control
of your routine.
3. Subscription/usage fee
GI currently only charges the user a fee for using MyDoc. However, you
acknowledge and agree that GI reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to
charge fees for the use of other features of the Platforms. GI will notify you
of the charge of any fee through the Platforms or by email prior to its
application. The user will have the option to continue or not to use the
Services. If you choose not to pay, GI reserves the right to immediately
cancel your access to the Platforms.
GI also collects users (legal entity) who perform advertising, as well as
promotional content on its platforms.
a. Payment
If you opt for any of our Paid Services, you agree to pay us the applicable
fees and taxes. Failure to pay these fees will result in the cancellation of
the Paid Services. You still agree:
● Your purchase may be subject to foreign currency exchange or
locality-based price differences (e.g., exchange rates);
● We may store your payment data and continue to use the same
payment method, even after expiration, to avoid interruptions to your
Services;
● If you purchase a subscription, we will automatically debit the applicable
fees at the beginning of each subscription period to your chosen
payment method. To avoid future charges, cancel before the renewal
date.
4. Who can use our Services?
Our Services are exclusive to professionals related to interventional
medicine. GI was designed to enable the exchange of knowledge,
professional integration and the concentration of relevant medical
information. If you do not fall under any of the three user registration
options, you must immediately terminate such use and delete the
Application.
To use the GI Services, you agree that: (i) you are a physician or
interventional medicine professional, and you fall under one of the three
options available to create the profile; (ii) is not a competitor of GI or does
not use our platforms for hostile and competitive reasons.
You further agree that if you use the Platform on behalf of a company,
medical institution, or other legal entity, you remain individually bound by
these Terms, even if your company has a separate agreement with GI.
5. How you can use our Services
This list of what is permitted or prohibited, together with our Content and
Privacy Policies, limits what you can and cannot do in relation to our
Services.
a. What you can do:
● Use the platforms in accordance with these Terms of Service and the
Privacy and Content Policies.
● Use our Services professionally.
● Register and fill your profile with true information and in accordance
with the profile options available for registration;
● Strengthen security by creating strong passwords.
● Maintain a respectful environment, be polite when communicating with
other users and not harass, harm or threaten others, or encourage such
conduct;
● Ensure that your use of the Services complies with the laws of your
country of residence, including, but not limited to, privacy and
intellectual property laws;
● Ensure the accuracy, veracity and completeness of the information
provided and update it in the event of any modification.
b. What you cannot do
● Create a false identity, post incorrect information on your profile, create
a User profile for someone other than you, or use or attempt to use
someone else's account;
● Disrupt or interfere with the security of GI or another user, impairing the
use of the platform; or help, authorize or encourage others to
circumvent, disable or bypass any of the security features or
components;
● Download or transmit through the Services any viruses or other
harmful, disturbing or destructive files.
● Post, download, add, send, transmit or otherwise make contract,
content that you do not have the right to post under any law, contract,
or fiduciary relationship.
● Use the Platform or any of its contents for any commercial purposes or
for the benefit of any third party, unless you have a separate agreement
with GI to that effect;
● Collect or store any personally identifiable information from the
Platform belonging to other users without their express permission.
● Violate any applicable law or regulation or any rules of professional
conduct;
● Take any action that imposes, or may impose, at our discretion, an
unreasonable or disproportionately large burden on the Platform.
● Copy, reproduce, alter, distribute, transfer, sell, publish, retransmit,
perform, transmit, license or circulate in any way part of the Platform.
● Take, post, download, add, transmit or use any screenshot, playback,
drawing, photo, video or comment of the content available on the
platform.
6. Content on the Services and Rights on Content
Before generating content on our Platforms, please carefully read our
Content and Privacy Policies, which establish the best privacy and
confidentiality practices in compliance with local, national, provincial, state,
federal and international laws. Identifying information should be removed.
GI provides manual tools to help its users suppress any identifying sign,
including editing tools.
The content and information posted by you on our Services is at your own
risk. You are solely responsible for your use of our Services and for the
content you make available, including compliance with applicable laws,
rules, and regulations.
We do not review the content provided by our users and therefore do not
guarantee the integrity, veracity, accuracy or reliability of the Content
posted on our platforms, nor do we support the opinions expressed by
them.
The user is prohibited from making copies and/or reusing, without express
prior authorization, the content published by another user.
By using our Services, you may find Content offensive, inappropriate or
outdated. In some cases, you may be exposed to publications and
advertising of unauthorized or unregulated medical devices or materials for
use and marketing at your place of operation. All Content is the sole
responsibility of the person who created or made it available . We cannot
monitor or control posted Content and we cannot be held responsible for
such Content.
In this way, you represent and warrant that: (i) we are not responsible for
third party content and information (including from other users); (ii) we may
not always prevent misuse of our Services, and you agree that we are not
responsible for such misuse; (iii) you or your organization may be mistakenly
associated with content about third parties when you or your organization is
mentioned by other users; (iv) your posting, comment, reply, chat will not
infringe, infringe or violate patents, copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets,
moral rights or other intellectual property rights of third parties or rights of
publicity or privacy, nor will it result in violation of any applicable law or
regulation, including but not limited to all laws, rules or regulations relating
to the information of health personnel, personal information and privacy.
You have the sole responsibility for your individual and full compliance with
the laws applicable to your place of operation and access to our platforms.
We are not committed to storing or continuing to display any information or
content you post. We are not a storage service. You agree that we are under
no obligation to store, maintain or provide you with a copy of content or
information that you or third parties provide, except to the extent required
by applicable law and as indicated in our Privacy Policy.
a. Limits
We reserve the right to limit the use of our Services. We may restrict
access to some of our features until there is proof that You meet the
requirements to be a User of our Services. We may also remove Content
that violates our Terms and Policies, restrict, and even suspend or
terminate your account in the event of misuse of our Services. If we take
steps to deactivate or terminate your account, you will be notified
through our Platforms or by email. If you believe your account has been
terminated by mistake, please contact us at

b. Advertising Content
You acknowledge that the Content may contain advertisements or
promotions of products and services. In addition, you acknowledge that
we do not supervise, endorse, or exercise any control over these
products and services. Thus, if you choose to conduct business with our
users or partners, you agree that such negotiations are established
solely between you and the advertiser, and that GI will have no liability
for loss or damage linked to such negotiations.
c. Partnerships with Third Parties
In order to facilitate and expand technical knowledge, GI can enable
links to third-party websites. We do not endorse the information
contained on these websites or ensure its quality, accuracy, reliability,
completeness, updating, non-infringement, possibility of marketing or
fitness for any purpose. The content of any partner is not under our
supervision. The choice to access it is at the user's own risk.
7. Ownership of platforms and generated content
The Platforms and the Services are the property of GI. Any use or
reproduction of GI content, without prior written permission from GI, is
strictly prohibited.
The GI does not claim the possession of the Content of the collaborative
published in the Services. However, by publishing any data or information,
You grant GI, perpetually, a worldwide license not exclusive, free and
royalty-free, transferable, sublicensable to use, reproduce, display,
communicate to the public by any means, print, copy, edit, translate,
perform and display (publicly or otherwise), redistribute, modify, adapt,
make, sell, offer to sell, transmit, distribute, license, transfer, transmit, issue,
create derivative works, i.e., make any use of or exploit collaborative
content without any further consent, notice and/or compensation to You or
third parties.
a. Even if we can edit, change the formatting, or translate its contents, we
will never modify the meaning of its expression.
b. We will ask for your consent whenever we wish to provide third parties
with the right to post your content outside of our Services. However, if you
choose to share your post in the "Public Forum", You are aware that your
content will allow the viewing and interaction of all certified Users on our
Platforms.
c. You may cancel this license for specific content by deleting the content of
our Services or deleting your account. However, content shared with other
users or copied or stored by them is not covered. Additionally, the content
must remain in the backup for the required period.
8. Disclaimer and Limitation of Liability
You agree that both access to and use of the Services or any Content are at
your own risk. GI does not provide representations or warranties about the
Services and offers the Services (including content and information) "as is"
and "as they are available". To the extent permitted by applicable law, GI
disclaims all warranties and conditions, express or implied, of commerciality,
fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
You understand and agree that GI is relinqued from any and all liability for:
(i) the completeness, accuracy, availability, update, security or reliability of
the Services or any Content; (ii) any damage to your computer's system, loss
of data or other damage resulting from your access to or use of the Services
or any Content; (iii) the deletion or failure to store or transmit any Content
and other communications maintained by the Services; and (iv) whether the
Services will meet your requirements or be available uninterruptedly,
securely or without errors.
You expressly acknowledge and agree that the products are used in
association with other services that, if they malfunction or do not work, may
provide wrong data and/or prevent the products from functioning properly
and/or for the intended purposes, which is why they will expressly
discontinue GI's liability for any failures and/or other circumstances
resulting from the operation of such services.
To the extent permitted by the legislation in place, GI shall not be liable,
with regard to this agreement, for loss of profits or business opportunities,
reputation, loss of data or for any indirect damages, incidents,
consequential, special or punitive, even if GI has been advised of the
possibility of such damage and even if these resources do not fulfill their
essential purpose.
You must notify us immediately if you become aware of any access to or use
of our Platforms and Services by third parties under your account without
your permission, or any other possible breach of security.
8.1Indemnity
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold GI, its officers, directors,
employees and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages,
losses and expenses, proceedings or demands, including attorneys' fees,
arising out of your use of our Platforms and Services.
9. Use of personal information
We use your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.
Take the time to read it carefully, as it includes important details about how
we protect and process your data.
10. Intellectual Property Rights
We reserve all intellectual property rights in our Services. All trademarks,
trade names, graphics and logos used for our Services are trademarks or
registered trademarks of GI.
11. Geographical application of the Platform
Not all Services detailed in these Terms are available in all jurisdictions.
Furthermore, the mere availability of features does not constitute an offer
or solicitation to purchase or sell any product or service to those who are in
a jurisdiction where such offer or solicitation is prohibited by applicable law.
12. Modifications
If we implement modifications to these Terms, the changes will be posted
on our Platforms, and you will be notified when they change your rights and
obligations. If you continue to access or use our Platforms even after the
modifications have been published, you agree to the modified Terms. If you
do not agree to the modified Terms, you agree to immediately discontinue
use of our Services.
13. Termination of the Contract
GI and You may terminate this Agreement at any time without notice. In
addition, GI reserves the right to suspend or terminate the contract, without
incurring any liability when: (i) You do not partially or fully comply with your
obligations; (ii) You stop using the Platforms and Services in accordance with
professional standards; (iii) GI receives complaints about the misuse or
misuse of the Platforms and Services; (iv) You do not adequately adopt the
necessary security; (v) there are circumstances whose nature prevents GI
from complying with its obligations in accordance with reasonableness and
justice standards.
a. If GI determines that reports about your Content are unfounded or not
serious enough, You will have the right to remain using the Platforms and
Services. GI will not be liable for any false reporting or any misjudgment of
your behavior or content made available by You that led to your suspension
or exclusion.
b. Upon termination, You are required to cease all use of the Platforms and
Services, as well as to remove and delete copies in your possession or
control.
14. Notices and contacts
Notices and other communications will be made in writing: (i) through the
email provided by you; or (ii) published in our site; or (iii) through our App.
In the notifications made by e-mail, the date of receipt will be deemed to
date on which the notification is issued. GI can also notify its users by
phone.
It will be considered as an e-mail able to send notifications the e-mail
provided by the User at the time of registration.

15. Conflict Law and Resolution
These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. These laws apply to the use of
the Platforms, regardless of your domicile, residence or physical location.
Our platforms are intended for use only in jurisdictions where they may be
legitimately used. Except to the restrictions imposed by applicable law, You
agree to the exclusivity of the forum of the city of São Luís/Maranhão,
Brazil, for all disputes arising out of or relating to the use of our Platforms
and Services.
Regardless of the application of these Terms, You may have additional
obligations and responsibilities in the jurisdiction in which you practice
medicine.
16. General Terms
These Terms (including modifications arising during your use of the Services) are
the only valid agreement between you and GI and supersede all prior
agreements and agreements relating to the Services.
The tolerance by either Party of non-compliance, in whole or in part, with any
clauses and conditions set forth in these Terms, shall not be construed as
modifying the rights and obligations assumed by the Parties, which shall remain
unchanged as if no tolerance had occurred, unless agreed in writing and duly
signed by the Parties.
GLOBAL INTERVENTION PRIVACY POLICY
Your privacy and your security are important to us. We believe that information
provided in a clear and straightforward way is the best way to repay the trust you have
placed in us. Therefore, our privacy policy is developed in sections, which easily
describe how we collect, use, and store the collected data. For more information on
specific terms used in this Policy, please refer to our Terms of Service and Our Content
Policy.
What you will find in our Privacy Policy:
a) Description of the personal information collected, how it is used and
with whom it may be shared.
b) The objective of the collection of this data and the legal mechanisms
that authorize the collection.
c) Period within which we will retain such information.
d) Rights that users have and how to exercise them.
e) Clarification on mandatory and optional data, as well as the
consequences of not making such information available.
f) Use of automatic decision.
g) Security procedures adopted to protect the misuse of this information.

We understand that data security is fundamental in the practice of medicine,
even in digital environments. That's why we've developed a specific privacy program.
This Policy applies solely to our app and website, including all our products and
services. In the case of other products or services, even if associated with our Platform,
your institution's privacy policy will prevail.
We do not sell your s, if this is necessary in the future, in a context of changing
our business structure, we will inform you and ask for your consent. We also do not
share personal information with third parties without your consent.
We may use the information you share to contact you (via email or phone) at
any time to provide valuable information, push notifications and conduct marketing to
boost our products and services. You will have the option to stop receiving these
notifications.
For further clarification on the information stored in your private environment
(MyDoc), as all data filled in by users is encrypted and is only readable by your device,
no other party, including GI, may decrypt any of this data.
We regularly evaluate our servers to ensure our security controls are the best,
and we work with industry-leading hosting partners to ensure our infrastructure is
protected. Within the application, access to MyDoc requires extra authentication factor
for data to be accessed securely and appropriately.
To keep your data protected, please:
1. Make sure you have a strong password.
2. Change your password often.
3. Keep your password secure.

Before using one of our services, please check out the sections below. We
assure you will always be warned about any changes.
Consent
The provision of personal data is never mandatory. The decision to provide
them is always the users. However, to have access to some of our services, the
provision of personal data is necessary.
Therefore, carefully read our Policy. By accepting and making use of our
services, you are fully and undisclosed and expressly consent to the collection, use,
communication, and disclosure of the data. If you do not agree to any of the terms and
rules set forth herein, you should not make use of our Platforms.
The diverse types of information we collect
Who you are: We collect data when you create your GI Account. During the
process of registering and completing the profile, we request:
Name.
E-mail.
Telephone.
Website.
Date of birth.
Photo (profile picture).
Nationality.
Specialty.
Training institute.
Medical record number.
Workplace
Physical address, in case of being hospital center or teaching center.
Area of activity, in case of being a Hospital Center or Industry Representative.
Browsing data: We may automatically collect certain technical information from your
computer or mobile device when you use our services.
Device and Usage Information: we may receive information from your device,
including your IP address, mobile operating system version, and unique device
identifiers. We may also collect and store your browser and application settings and
preferences.
Online Activity: we may receive information about your interactions with our Services
and other information about electronic and network activities, such as the time spent
interacting with the content and dates and times of your visits, and other information
using cookies, and other Internet technologies.
Data on financial transactions: We do not store payment information, such as your
credit or debit card number and other card information. We only collect the document
number required for user identification and order processing.
o Data and content of the cases you provide: According to your user
profile, you can:
o Post cases (photos and videos) with captions.
o Comment on cases published by other users.
o Reply to comments made by other users.
o Archive cases that interest you.
o Share cases with other users.
o Send message privately.
o Form groups with other users.
We store the content of published cases, as well as subtitles, comments, and
replies. We also save the cases you "saved" in Arquive.
All publications, comments and replies made by you must comply with local,
state, federal, national, and international privacy laws, and best practices. Information
that identifies patients should be removed from published cases and should under no
circumstances be included in captions, comments, or responses. For more information,
please refer to our Content Policy.
We remind you that GI adopts manual information blocking tools that help us
remove posts that do not comply with our Policies and Standards.
We also have the publication reporting tool, which allows users to indicate any
inappropriate content. But the existence of these tools does not exempt you from
complying with the rules contained in our Content Policy and Our Terms of Service, nor
exempts you from any legal obligations to maintain the privacy of patients and other
users.
Information we do not collect
We do not collect accurate data about the location of your device (geolocation).
We do not collect billing data.
How do we use the information collected?
We usually use the information collected for the following business purposes:
1. Provide, personalize, and enhance our products and services: we use the
information we collect about you to provide the services, to improve and
develop new products, services, features, and functionality, and to understand
and analyze the trends and preferences of our users' use. We may also use your
information to personalize our services (such as to remember information
about you so that you do not have to re-enter it the next time you use the
Services); provide individualized content and relevant advertising; and monitor
and analyze the use and effectiveness of marketing services and activities.
2. We communicate with you about our products, services, and promotions: we
may send emails or messages to the address you provide to us for operational
purposes, such as account management or customer service. We may also use
your information to send you promotional communication by email. If you
prefer not to receive such promotional communication from us, you may
unsubscribe at any time.
3. Comply with applicable law and enforce our legal rights: We may also process
the information to enforce our terms and other legal rights, including
intellectual property rights; to comply with or comply with applicable law,
regulations or legal processes, such as a court order or judicial intimation; in
response to requests from government agencies such as law enforcement
authorities; and to comply with industry standards and our policies.
How long will we keep this information?
We will retain information about the use of our platform for as long as
necessary for the purposes described above. This period varies depending on the
services and platform you use and how you interact with us.
Account information (who you are) is retained until you delete your account
and for a limited period thereafter. After you delete your account, the cases, captions,
comments, and replies will be deleted, and you will not be able to retrieve that
information. Information that others have shared about you is not part of your account
and will not be deleted.
If you provide information in forms, the information is only retained for as long
as necessary. For example, we may need to keep track of communication if you have
made a complaint for as long as necessary to protect us from any legal claim.
Similarly, if you unsubscribe from our marketing campaigns, we will keep a
record of this to ensure that you do not receive such communication in the future.
In the event of a deletion request, we will delete personal data as soon as
possible, unless and to the extent that the law requires us to retain personal data or if
there are other compelling reasons to owe it. After an exclusion request is run, we will
send you a confirmation message. If the personal data is not (partially) deleted, we will
send you a message in which we will explain why your request could not be (fully)
fulfilled.
Who is this information shared with?
GI uses trusted third-party services and technologies that follow appropriate
security standards and are subject to the obligation of confidentiality. Your data will be
shared with such third parties in accordance with this Policy, the Content Policy, the
U-day and the respective Service and applicable law.
Research companies: We may contact you to conduct surveys and research
always with the aim of testing, solving problems and evaluating our Services.
Measurement partners: we may share information about you with companies
that aggregate to provide measurement analysis and reporting to our partners.
Service providers and providers: we provide information and content to
suppliers and service providers that enable the operation of our business, whether
providing technical infrastructure services, analyzing how our Products are used,
providing customer service, facilitating payments, or conducting research.
Law enforcement or legal requests: We share information with law enforcement
authorities or in response to legal requests in the circumstances described below.
How can the user track the information collected and what can they do to control it?
You can request all personal information we collect by sending a request to
support@globalintervention.app. Subject to certain exceptions, you may also have the
right to have such information deleted. We do not discriminate against you for
exercising your rights. The rights of users are limited, and we reserve the right to limit
our response in accordance with applicable law.
Right to delete information: You can block all information collection by deleting
your account and uninstalling the application. We may retain the information
previously made available and stored for as long as necessary, as explained in the
section "How long will we keep this information?"
Right to correct information: You can update, correct, or delete information
about you at any time by accessing your Profile. To change the type of Profile, you
should contact us via the support@globalintervention.app.
Right to "withdrawal": You can opt out of receiving ads, push notifications, and
marketing messages by sending an email to support@globalintervention.app .
However, we do not allow you to opt out of receiving notifications and other
informational messages regarding our Policies and your rights and obligations. In
addition, if your posts, captions, comments, or responses disobey the rules of the
Content Policy, especially if you post content that has patient identification available,
you will receive notification indicating a potential privacy violation and the content
may be deleted without notice.
Do we use automatic decisions?
To improve our Products and provide an ever-improving Service, our Platform
may automatically collect some information. We clarify that the information collected
will not be accessible by third parties.
Log information: we record information about your use of our Services,
including the type of browser you use, access times, your IP address.
Device Information: we collect information about the computer or mobile
device you use to access the Services.
Information collected by cookies: we use cookies to collect information.
Why do we use cookies?
Cookies are small text files that can be used by websites to make the user
experience more efficient.
We are allowed to store cookies on your device if they are strictly necessary for
the operation of our website.
Our browser does not automatically accept cookies. You must authorize
cookies. We believe that there are several ways to manage cookies, and you can
remove or reject cookies from your browser. Blocking cookies may affect the
functioning of your experience, as you will not be able to identify your preferences and
recommend relevant content and advertising.
What procedures do we adopt for greater information security?
We use a variety of physical, administrative, and technological protection
measures to protect personal information from leaks, misuse, and unauthorized access
or disclosure.
Our measurements consider the sensitivity of the information we collect, use
and store, and the current state of technology. For example, we limit access to your

Content policy for users
We are an open and enriching teaching platform for the exchange of
professional experiences and a useful method of technical guidance on specific cases.
Although we are a platform for communication and community connection not
directed to the public, our users must follow the same principles of traditional
medicine.
Thus, in mind that the rules that protect intimacy and confidentiality, before
making a publication and submitting images on our application or website, we alert the
user to remove any personally identifiable information (or information that can be
used to identify an individual) relating to the patient and his/her family members. This
includes, but is not limited to:
• Names;
• All geographic subdivisions smaller than a State or Province, including
residential address, city, municipality, neighborhood, ZIP Code and its equivalent
geocodes;
• Zip code;
• All elements (except year, if relevant to the case) of dates directly
related to an individual, including date of birth, date of admission, date of consultation
of the patient, date of discharge, date of death and exact age;
• Telephone numbers (landline or mobile); addresses and e-mails;
• Social security, national identity number, or equivalent;
• Numbers of records or medical records;
• Health card numbers, health plan beneficiary numbers, or health plan
account numbers;
• Account numbers;
• Certificate/license numbers;
• Internet Protocol (IP) address numbers;
• Biometric identifiers, including fingerprints and voice
• Full-face photographic images and any comparable images;
• Photographic images of scars, tattoos, piercings, etc., which would allow
identification
• Any other unique identification number, characteristic or code.
We alert that even if individual information may not break confidentiality by itself, the
sum of information posted online may be sufficient to identify a patient or someone
close to it.
Thus, other users or third parties who seek techniques to reidentify the data,
undertake to treat them in the terms allowed in the rules of protection of personal
data.
To ensure the best practices of its publication, in addition to anonymization
prior to the publication of medical images, you must obtain written authorization from
the patient.
The user agrees and warrants that he/she has removed all identifying
information and that he/she does not have effective knowledge that the images could
be used alone or in combination with other information to identify an individual who is
the object of the information.
Publications that mention the use or that stimulate the use and acquisition of
certain medical devices, we warn that the marketing and use of medical devices must
take place in accordance with the specific provisions applicable in each place of
operation of the user.
We assume no responsibility for the information provided about medical
devices, nor do we have any link with manufacturers or distributors of such devices.
The choice, use and disclosure of the devices are the sole responsibility of the user. You
are solely responsible for the communication and other interactions established with
other GI users or with other people who may interact because of the use of our
Platforms.
Although messages are sent and received safely, it is always the user's
responsibility to determine whether the recipient(s) is authorized to receive any
potentially sensitive personal data, such as health information from a specific patient.
Users are therefore responsible and committed to the information they send to other
users. GI cannot be held responsible for any privacy-sensitive information sent through
its features or any other of its Services by users without the proper authorization of its
owner.
Finally, we also provide a private MyDoc environment, which acts as a simplified
and optimized digital record of all procedures performed by the user. It is an excellent
option for the user who seeks to improve their processes, standardize, evolve, and
retain their patients.
The information recorded in MyDoc is important and covers the identification of
the patient and reports on his/her health status and procedure performed.
The stored data is only accessible by the duly registered user. We do not have access
to that information. We guarantee that this data will not be published in any event, and
we take technical measures to keep it private and confidential, such as encryption and
reinforcement in user authentication.
We advise the user to adopt strong password to keep their personal
information safe; protect your files and other content and prevent someone else from
going into that field. We warn you that the password is for personal use and should not
be shared with third parties.
The user agrees and warrants that he has taken all precautions in creating and
maintaining his/her unique access password and that he/she has not shared the
password with third parties.
GI Guidelines
We want to be a safe place that inspires our users to express themselves with
respect. We are committed to following these Guidelines as well as the conduct
outlined in our Terms of Use, our Privacy Policy and Our Content Policy and we expect
the same from You. Exceeding these limits can result in deleting content, disabled
accounts, or other restrictions.
Remember to be professional and not post anything misleading, fraudulent,
obscene, threatening, hateful, defamatory, discriminatory, or illegal.
Be trusted:
● Do not disclose false, dubious, or misleading data. We require you to
share only real, accurate and authentic information.
● We also do not allow the use of profiles or false entities. Do not post
misleading information or associate your posts with another user or
organization with which you are not actually associated.
Respect other users:
● Do not disclose content that presents actual threats or hate speech. We
remove publications that attack, intimidate, disparage, dehumanize,
incite, or threaten hatred, violence, discrimination against individuals or
groups for any cause, be it race, ethnicity, nationality, caste, gender,
gender identity, sexual orientation, religious affiliation, or disability
status.
● Abusive conduct and harassment-related behavior are not permitted.
Sexual innuendo and unwanted advances will be banned from our
platforms.
● Promote real interactions. Do not publish, comment on, or repeatedly
approach another user, without consent, for purely commercial
purposes. Avoid spreading spam.
Comply with the law:
● Do not promote, sell, or attempt to buy illegal or dangerous goods or
services.
● Do not support terrorism, hate groups, extremist groups, or organized
crime.
● Do not disclose or engage publications related to the commercialization
of unregulated materials in your place of operation.
● We do not tolerate any sexual content, especially when it involves
minors or exposure of intimate images of others.
Help us leave our environment safe
If you see something that violates our guidelines and policies, whether it is in
profiles, posts, comments, or anywhere in our environment, use the report option. Our
team is available to manage complaints and remove any content inconsistent with our
policies.
You will be notified when a post of yours is removed. If you need more
information, please contact us at support@globalintervention.app. Please use the
reporting tools responsibly and only for the intended purposes.
We may also remove the content every time we detect that it violates our
guidelines, even if there is no provocation from users and/or third parties.
Violating our community policies may result in action against your account or
content Our guidelines apply to all users. Depending on the degree of the violation, we
may limit the visibility of certain content, label it, or remove it completely. Repeated or
flagrant offenses will result in account restriction. If you believe that an action taken on
your content or account was an error, please email support@globalintervention.app.
Finally, remember that discussions and misunderstandings can be resolved
directly among community members, provided they are conducted with courtesy and
kindness.
